The Duo Cup is a four-part youth chess tournament series bringing students together through competition, community, and growth. Presented by Queens Gambit in partnership with Duolingo, the series creates accessible, high-quality tournament experiences for students in grades 2–8 - welcoming both first-time players and those continuing to build their skills. Each tournament is designed as more than a competition. Students engage in structured, supportive play while developing focus, confidence, decision-making, and sportsmanship - skills that extend far beyond the board.

Join us for a beginner-friendly, community-centered chess tournament designed for students in grades 2–8 with a basic understanding of the game. Players will compete in organized, supportive matches while building focus, confidence, and problem-solving skills in a fun, encouraging environment.
