We prioritize forging partnerships with organizations operating within or serving historically marginalized and underfunded communities.

Our programs are tailored for students in grades 2 through 12. We strongly believe that young leaders in grades 8 through 12 should have access to resources that enrich their experiences beyond traditional classroom settings.

Through our high-caliber after school and summer programs and strategic initiatives, we provide invaluable opportunities for exploration, creativity, learning, and meaningful connections with supportive adults.

Recognizing that the majority of a child's time is spent outside the classroom, we understand the significance of learning and inspiration beyond formal education settings. Hence, we collaborate closely with top-tier afterschool programs and engaging summer experiences to ensure comprehensive support for our students.

When I first moved to Pittsburgh, I discovered the Queens Gambit Chess Institute through a program they were doing at my local library. After that, I began to take classes through the Institute. I loved the lessons because it was evident that the instructors loved the game itself and teaching it.
